Meanwhile, L Nongrud, Executive Secretary Sohra Presbytery said that since there is only one road coming from Shillong and leading into Laitryngew, he urged the faithful to be disciplined while driving or parking their vehicles and follow traffic rules.
“We are expecting not less than 60,000 vehicles and around a lakh faithful will attend the church event,” Nongrud said.
He also urged those attending the Church event not to haphazardly throw their wastes even as he informed that there are designated places where one can dump their garbage.
