Shillong, Nov 21: A trade test competition was organised by the North East Metalliferous Mines, under the aegis of Directorate General of Mines Safety, Guwahati Region as part of the 22nd North East Metalliferous Mine Safety Week- 2025.
About 150 work persons and supervisors from 17 opencast mines of the organised sector participated in the Trade Tests competition held on November 20, which involved 11 different trades.
The trade test competition was organised at Dalmia Cement and six trades test competitions at Meghalaya Cements.
About 114 winners of the respective trade test completions were awarded prizes after the competitions.
