The Meghalaya AIDS Control Society in collaboration with district administration of East Jaiñtia Hills and the Mihmyntdu Community Social Welfare Association, yesterday conducted HIV tests of tourist taxi drivers under the East Jaiñtia Hill District Tourist Association and Kalain Badarpur Association.
It is hoped that with regular testing and responsible behaviour, EJH will be free from HIV and other diseases.
In addition, Hepatitis B and C tests, blood pressure checks and general check-ups were also conducted at the camp.
