An event bringing together technology enthusiasts, seasoned developers, colleges and software development firms, dubbed Dev Connect 2023, was held here on Saturday.
The event was hosted by the Prime Startup Hub in Polo and was organised by the Meghalaya developers and graphic designers community, a press release stated today.
Speakers included Christopher Wanswett, George Kharmujai of Axelerant Technologies and Kyrshanlang R Dkhar. Firms that took part included Codigon, which showcased its open source PHP framework called Weaver; and TechSoul, which presented its ELI framework.
In the afternoon, participants engaged in simultaneous hands-on sessions. Flutter Meghalaya led a mobile app development workshop, providing practical learning opportunities and creating a dynamic app. Meanwhile, the core members explored IoT (Internet of Things) with an immersive hands-on session in connecting things to the internet.
