Tata Motors has signed a five-year agreement with Meghalaya Rural Bank (MRB) to help to secure financing to purchase the former’s vehicles.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was made public here today.
Tata is hoping to expand the sale of its small commercial vehicle (SCV) segment by using MRB’s 90-plus branches to connect with potential customers.
The conglomerate says that its SCV range has provided “a respectable means of livelihood to over 30 lakh Indians”.
