Students from Baghmara and surrounding areas participated enthusiastically in a one day ‘District Level Science, Mathematics and Environmental Exhibition’ held at Rangku Memorial Girls Secondary School in Baghmara.
The Director of Balpakram National Park, NR Marak, congratulated the student participants and emphasised the theme of the exhibition: ‘Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future’.
She stated that sustainability is essential for our survival, noting, “Gone are the days when we could use and throw things. We have already reached a point where our resources are quickly depleting. It is high time that we use our available resources wisely while ensuring that we leave something for future generations.”
At the exhibition, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School won the first prize, while Pioneers Secondary School and Jagarani Secondary School secured second and third respectively.
