The East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner has informed that all students availing benefits from different types of scholarships schemes via National Scholarship Portal (NSP) are advised to complete their Aadhaar enrolment well in advance before the NSP portal gets opened for different scholarship schemes.
Applicants are also advised to link their Aadhaar cards with their own bank account to enable seamless disbursement of scholarship funds.
As per the latest scholarship guidelines, only the Income Certificates issued by the Deputy Commissioners of all districts, Sub-Divisional Officers of the Sub-Divisions and Block Development Officers will be acceptable during scholarship application. Certificates issued by different Authorities or by affidavit will no longer be acceptable.
