Shillong, May 14: The Meghalaya state unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has demanded a transparent, time-bound, and impartial investigation into allegations surrounding the NEET-UG examination paper leak.
ABVP State Secretary Bomsing Khongtir said that strict penalties should be inflicted upon all involved parties, including individuals, institutions, and coaching networks implicated in the alleged paper leak.
Furthermore, he urged the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the government to implement stronger security and transparency measures to prevent similar incidents in future examinations.
He said that the allegations have raised questions about the integrity of one of India’s most significant competitive examinations, impacting the confidence of millions of students and parents nationwide.
Khongtir called upon educational authorities to introduce stronger digital security systems, strict monitoring of examination centres, accountability mechanisms, and tougher action against examination mafias operating across different states.
The ABVP also appealed to students to maintain hope and not lose confidence in the examination process. The dreams and aspirations of countless NEET aspirants should be safeguarded, ensuring that justice and fair practices prevail within India’s educational framework, Khongtir said.
