St Dominic’s College, Shillong, conducted a one day workshop on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) yesterday under the faculty development plan.
The key speakers were Prof SM Sungoh from the Department of Education at NEHU and Prof AP Pati from the Department of Commerce at NEHU, who spoke about the FYUP that will be implemented by NEHU in all the affiliated colleges from the 2023-24 academic session.
Prof Neeru Snehi, Professor at NIEPA, New Delhi, joined the workshop online and spoke about the research component in higher educational institutes in accordance with NEP 2020.
