The Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MeSCMA) has informed participants that, due to unsafe weather conditions, the State Level Sport Climbing Selection Trials scheduled for tomorrow have been called off and will be postponed to a future date.
The trials started today at the Artificial Climbing Wall of the 58 Gorkha Training Centre, Happy Valley.
Meghalaya State Olympic Association working president John F Kharshiing was the chief guest and Assistant Director of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department Khroobok Passah was the guest of honour.
Fifty-five participants reported for the trials, which are being hosted at the new climbing wall at the 58 GTC campus.
