The Sngap Syiem College, Mawkyrwat celebrated the graduation day with an award presentation for students who made a mark in academics and sports.
The Dr. Dhirendro Award and the Rowell Lyngdoh Award were conferred upon students for their outstanding academic achievements.
The college also recognized the outstanding achievements of Jemmison Wahlang, who secured a Silver Medal in the National Arm Wrestling Championship, and the winners of the Marathon and cultural programme at the district level were felicitated for their exceptional performances.
Besides the student, Dr. T. Lyngdoh, Head of the Political Science Department, was felicitated for receiving an honorary D. Litt degree from the University of Central America.
Principal Dr. K.K. Nongsiej congratulated and blessed the graduates, wishing them success in their future endeavours. He urged them to remain connected with the college and contribute as alumni for the benefit of the college community.
He motivated the graduates to pursue higher education or professional courses and encouraged them to consider preparing for the civil service examination and stressed on the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving their goals.
