Search operations are on for the three anglers who were feared drowned since yesterday morning at the Sdad Dylla area of Wah Blei river under Maweit in West Khasi Hills.
Shillingbest Langrin (40), Kmenlang Nonglang (28) and Hubert Marthong (41) who hail from Maweit village, were fishing at the river when a flash flood occurred.
West Khasi Hills authorities have deputed District Search and Rescue Team (SRT) to trace out the three missing fishermen. However, they are yet to be found.
