The North East Paramedical and Nursing Institute (NEPNI), Guwahati has announced scholarship for meritorious and below poverty line students across the country.
Merit scholarship will be given to science stream students who scored above 80 per cent and to BPL students who scored 60 per cent in their board examination.
A press release here said that the scholarship amounting to Rs 30,000 will be given to each student. It will be applicable for students admitted into ANM, GNM, B.Sc Nursing and Paramedical courses i.e, Physiotherapy, Radiography and Medical Lab Technology at the NEPNI Group of Institutions, ALikash,Kamrup Assam.
The last date of admission is November 30, 2023.
The students will have to visit the official website https://nepniinstitutions.in for more information as well as submission of relevant data online.
President of NEPNI Trust, Babul Ali informed that apart from the two scholarships there will also be a minority scholarship from the ministry of minority affairs. He said separate hostel facilities will be arranged for students from states outside Assam.
The trust will also help students secure education loan and is committed to provide 100 per cent placement assurance for students, he added.
NEPNI group of institutions is currently offering Auxilary Nurses’ Midwife (2 years) ,General Nurses and Midwife (3years), BPT B.Sc Physiotherapy (4.5years) , B.Sc. IN Radiography & Advance imaging (4 years) , B.SC. in Medical Laboratory Technology (3 years).
It also plans to introduce five and three year law courses next year, which will be affiliated to Guwahati University.
