St. Claret Higher Secondary School will represent South West Garo Hills District at the State Level Science, Mathematics, and Environment Exhibition.
St. Claret Higher Secondary School won the first spot at the District Level Science, Mathematics, and Environment Exhibition for children organised by the office of the District School Education Officer, South West Garo Hills at Springfield Higher Secondary School, Ampati today.
Hari Shanti Niketan Vidyalaya Secondary School secured the position of first runners-up, while Good Shepherd Secondary School took the second runners-up position.
The event saw participation from around ten schools across the district, centred around the theme, “Science and Technology for Society”.
The exhibition was inaugurated by K R Marak, Retired Vice Principal of Ampati Government Higher Secondary School, who was the chief guest at the programme.
In his address, Marak encouraged students not to fear subjects like Mathematics and Science, emphasising their importance and relevance in today’s world.
The programme was also attended by T Ch. Marak, incharge DSEO, South West Garo Hills, A A Sangma, Principal of Springfield Higher Secondary School, and S N Sangma, Block Mission Coordinator of Betasing Block, South West Garo Hills.
