The Rotary Club of Jowai yesterday elected new office bearers for 2024-2025.
The office bearers include president Rudolf Eustace Laloo, vice-president S Kmenlang Lato, secretary Montri Passah and treasurer James Monroe Pohsngap, among others.
Meanwhile, the Rotary Club of Orchid City Shillong held its first meeting for the Rotary year 2024-25 on July 3. During this meeting, Antony War was formally installed as the president of the club, with his tenure set to continue until June 30, 2025. Additionally, Dr Abir Suchiang was introduced as the new secretary.
The meeting was graced by the presence of G Pradeep Pillai, the assistant governor of Zone 13 of the Rotary International District 3240, along with other esteemed Rotary members.
