The ‘Road to Fifty’ an audio-visual exhibition celebrating 50 years of Meghalaya will be held at Football Ground, Mission Compound, Jowai on March 29 from 11am to 3pm.
The exhibition which is open to public is being organised by the Northeast India AV Archive, Department of Mass Media, St. Anthony’s College, Shillong wherein the collection to be up on display at Jowai is the first comprehensive pictorial collection comprising of photographs and documents from the Pre-Hill State movement to the early years of Meghalaya.
The exhibition will also host a few photographs taken between the early 1920’s up to the 1990’s.
