Editor,
Frequent power cuts in our plain belt area of West Garo Hills have become a very big problem in our day to day life. Apart from extreme temperature (37 degree Celsius), normal life in the whole area is crippled by power cuts.
We are not only suffering from load shedding but also we are severely affected by the burning temperature. Fans, refrigerators and other cooling systems could not function due to load shedding.
I would therefore request the power minister through your newspaper to take steps to address the problem and reduce load shedding hours for our area.
