The entry of three newcomers into the NPP has perhaps caused concern and worries to party members in Umsning, Mawhati and Nongstoiñ.
The party will soon hold a meeting of its members in the three constituencies to try to allay their concerns.
Speaking at a function to welcome the MLAs of Umsning, Mawhati and Nongstoiñ into the party, State NPP president said that today morning he had a meeting at his house with presidents and senior leaders of the NPP block committees of the three constituencies “to address their concerns”.
“Today morning, I held a meeting with leaders of the NPP block committees of all three constituencies to address their concerns,” Tynsong said.
He also said that after the Assembly session he would hold separate meetings with NPP members at Umsning, Mawhati and Nongstoiñ in the presence of the three MLAs “to tell them that we are from the same party”.
Apparently, Tynsong was trying to convince the original NPP leaders and members of the three constituencies to accept and work together with the supporters of Dr. Celestine Lyngdoh, Charles Marngar and Gabriel Wahlang.
