Shillong, Aug 1: Internationally acclaimed Polish guitarist, composer and producer Marcin will perform at Lariti Performing Centre, Mawkasiang, on August 12, 2026 as part of the Marcin – Art of Guitar Tour 2026.
Presented by Jameson Connects and Foreword Lifestyle and Experiences LLP, the Shillong show brings a globally recognised artist to a city known for its live music culture.
The 25-year-old is known for percussive fingerstyle guitar combined with orchestral arrangements and contemporary production. He has over 500 million YouTube views, 4.2 million Instagram followers and has performed at London’s Royal Albert Hall. India is already his fourth-largest global audience.
The concert is expected to draw students, guitarists and music lovers from across Meghalaya and the Northeast, and adds to the state’s growing cultural calendar.
L.B. King of CM-MGMP said, “If you’re into guitar, there’s no other place to be than at this show.” Hannah from CM-MGMP added, “I never expected him to come and perform in Shillong.”
The tour will also feature The Great Indian Riff Off, a nationwide search for undiscovered guitarists. One winner will open for Marcin on the tour.
