The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of the recruitment in Civil Defence & Home Guards Department will resume from November 18 to November 21.
A statement from the department today said that candidates who were scheduled to participate in the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) on October 4, 5, 7 and 8 and those who had qualified in the PMT and participated in the PET on October 2 and 3 will have to download new admit cards from the department’s official website for their dates of participation.
The link for admit card will be available from November 6, 2024 in the official website, www.meghomeguards.gov.in.
The PET is being conducted for 445 vacant posts consisting of four posts of Sub Inspector, 284 Guardsman, 17 Driver and 140 Non-Combatant Employees (NCE) in Shillong and Tura.
The government had earlier postponed the test in Shillong in October due to heavy rainfall.
The tests in Tura which began on September 16 concluded on September 26.
