The long-awaited desire of residents of Mawtari Myrdon village in Ri-Bhoi was today fulfilled by Shillong MP Vincent Pala, who inaugurated the new community hall.
The function was also attended by former Umsning MLA Celestine Lyngdoh, former MDC Rona Khymdeit, state Youth Congress president Adrian LC Mylliem and Umsning Block Development Officer Raja Brahma.
This community hall was constructed under the Special Rural Works Programme and MP Local Area Development Scheme at an estimated cost of Rs 18.50 lakh.
