The golden jubilee celebration of the Pahambir Catholic Church concluded with a solemn Holy Mass and cultural programme yesterday.
Fr. Roland Kharkrang played a pivotal role as the main celebrant during the Holy Mass, which was participated by thousands of believers.
The mass was followed by the reverent distribution of the Eucharist.
Church leaders, including Fr. Lawrence Nongkseh, Fr. Charles Sangma, Fr. Felix Aiban Kleiñ, and others were also present during the celebration.
The cultural programme featured energetic performances by the youth.
The founders of the Pahambir Catholic Church were also honoured during the celebration and the golden jubilee flag was ceremoniously lowered by Nongpoh MDC Balajied Rani.
