The Sohbar Sirdarship Local Exporters and Importers Association have alleged that vehicles carrying limestone and boulders weighing more than 12 tons continue to enter Bangladesh without any interruption.
In a complaint lodged today with the inspector of the weighbridge at Majai land custom station, the association said that carrying more than 12 tons of load “is violative of the rule and law in force for the time being”.
The association also sought immediate steps to stop carrying more than 12 tons of limestone and boulders from Lailad junction to Bangladesh.
