Nongspung polling station in Rambrai-Jyrngam Assembly constituency under Shillong parliamentary seat has the highest number of voters at 1274.
Kamsing polling station in Amlarem constituency and Phot-eitsim polling station in Ranikor constituency with 36 voters each have the least number of electorates under the Shillong parliamentary seat.
This was informed by Chief Electoral Officer B D R Tiwari to media persons here today while briefing about preparations for the Lok Sabha election in the State which will be held tomorrow.
In the Tura parliamentary seat, Chandmary polling station in North Tura Assembly constituency has the highest number of electorates with 1324 voters, while Narigre polling station in Williamnagar Assembly constituency has the least with 85 voters.
Dalu Assembly constituency under Tura parliamentary seat has the least number of voters with 22,398 electors while Mawlai constituency under Shillong Lok Sabha seat has the largest number of voters with 50,953 electors.
The CEO also informed that eight expenditure sensitive Assembly constituencies have been identified.
According to Tiwari, 1619 persons have been bound under various sections of CrPC till April 11 and four FIRs have been filed for poll related campaigns till April 17.
The police seized cash, liquor, drugs and freebies worth Rs 44.38 crore has been seized of which Rs 33.45 crore are pre Model Code of Conduct (MCC) seizures and Rs 10.93 crore are post MCC seizures (till April 18).
Tiwari also informed that 67 complaints were received through NGSP portal and nine C-vigil cases have been resolved.
