The Hynñiewtrep Integrated Territorial Organisation (HITO) has demanded that the state government repair National Highway 6 immediately.
Members of the pressure group carried out an inspection of the highway’s degradation from Mawryngkneng up to the Jowai Bypass.
The inspection was led by HITO’s Jaiñtia Hills unit general secretary Cressene Ksoo and Mawryngkneng unit member Banshem Nonglait.
They went to inspect the road after the Chief Minister gave his assurance to repair the NH-6.
