A successful education system requires two key elements: motivation and encouragement. A strong inner network with a variety of strategies to deal with unforeseen challenges must be present in a system of education that is competent. The main focuses of National Education Policy are fostering modern skills as well as subtly introducing new moral codes and cognitive thinking. Our educational system is renowned for embracing principles and methods that can influence academics’ and students’ creative inclinations. The transitional stage, however, presents more and more difficulties.

The National Educational Policy (NEP) is a sincere attempt to close the knowledge gap in the fields of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies’ current significance. Each discipline’s content and ideas will undoubtedly become richer and more varied thanks to the NEP’s new input. Through multidisciplinary practices, even science students will learn about the subtleties of global, national, sociopolitical, and economic issues. The brilliant display of pure genius of this approach to government is something that one cannot help but admire.

The UGC’s recent attempt to solicit academicians’ opinions on how to transform the organisation into a high-learning, multidisciplinary institution is a fantastic step in the direction of a transparent and practical approach. Earlier, all the stakeholders responded favorably to the invitation for draft suggestions for creating effective online learning programs. The provision for giving colleges the autonomy and a uniform test for a four-year BA degree are two other significant changes that the NEP envisions. A significant accomplishment of the government was the dramatic increase in literacy from 12 per cent at the time of independence to a whopping 74 per cent as of 2021.

These regulations will serve as catalysts for fresh ideas, promote academic cooperation across a range of disciplines, and foster collaboration between higher education institutions. About a few years ago, there was a period of significant change in the subjects covered and the nature of different disciplines, as well as a focused effort to incorporate real-world examples of governance, the environment, democracy, and the environment into the framework of the new educational system.

It is necessary to demonstrate how new approaches to higher education will bring about change and inspire confidence in the populace. It is also necessary to discuss how the most recent research and developments in the field of education worldwide can be disseminated in order to improve research and teaching appropriately. The higher education system’s strength lies in fostering internal dynamism by promoting inclusive growth.

Strategic knowledge and foresight would be beneficial in preventing problems from developing in the first place as India needs to diversify its strategies to combat the challenges it faces from Pakistan and China. The National Education Policy has several features that are very helpful for raising the level of strategic studies so that young students can have a large canvas to identify their choice of disciplines. They would learn how capable the youth, especially those from less well-known areas, are of serving the country with honesty and conviction because of their inner strength, resiliency, intelligence, and clarity of thought. They would also learn how well their mind and body work together. In addition to being an effort to mainstream them, this represents a significant step in the direction of achieving social justice and equity, which are deep-seated desires.

The process of accountability and disclosure, which would make the system impenetrable, was eagerly anticipated. The NEP, which incorporates a more practical approach at the tertiary level, would aid in catching and identifying the tendency among the new generation to bolster the nation’s forces. The increased focus and room for innovation would draw talent and inform them to look for career opportunities in the Defence services. The NEP has given India’s education industry a sizable platform and a new entry point into the problem-solving process.

Unquestionably, great efforts have been made to create an environment that fosters the development of smooth, easily comprehensible, cognitive, constructive, and analytical skills in the future’s harbingers. With the option to select defence and security as one of the significant subjects of the larger discipline at the undergraduate or postgraduate levels, the National Education Policy offers a new beginning to understanding the core security problems that can be comprehended in a brighter manner.

Other standout features of the National Education Policy include the provision of a single regulator and numerous entry and exit options with regard to formal degrees. Since the ongoing low-intensity insurgency supported by Pakistan and China’s expansionist mission have confirmed the obnoxious conspiracy to hit India where it matters the most by causing a socio-religious and security quagmire, the study of such issues would be met with a great deal of interest from higher education.

In addition, it will make it abundantly clear that India cannot respond in the same way because of its rigid beliefs and policies regarding the defensive mechanism that it has adopted to maintain peace. The issue of regaining public trust and confidence that India is a strong nation that strives to stay out of war and conflict has been furthered as a result. Security personnel would become well-versed in the psychology of terrorists and criminals with the new knowledge of socio-political aspects of the problem of insurgency, terrorism, and Naxal violence.

The attempt to raise awareness about our domestic foundations while refocusing on the importance of addressing the various shades, such as gender sensitisation and concern for marginalised communities, by way of the establishment of Special Education Zones through the process of community-based social democratic ideas and values, deserves all the praise. Additionally, it would aid in developing a sense of social responsibility.

Additionally, by encouraging students interested in studying defense to learn new skills, a fresh perspective can also clearly outline a course of action. The most recent opportunities would provide a new perspective and inspire introspective thought in order to look at various possibilities and viewpoints and determine one’s best location in light of their interests.

Numerous National Education Policy provisions can guarantee collaborative idea generation and offer guidance on how to understand even complicated and laborious problems. In terms of tertiary education, the National Education Policy’s strategy seems to lay out a very clear path forward by involving mentors fully in new approaches and creating challenging strategies to meet the needs of all types of students.

Therefore, it would be essential to develop self-academic orientation and excellence to deliver and provide problem-solving and inquiry-based learning activities with which students can further formulate and test their ideas, draw conclusions and inferences, and pool and convey their knowledge in a collaborative learning environment. This would be the only way to improve the standard of students.

A new curriculum would offer a more thorough understanding of the issue of terrorism and its root causes, which might pave the way for a strategy for dealing with it that is guaranteed to be effective. This anti-terrorism strategy will need to investigate the sources of funding for terrorism as well as the connections between terrorists, arms dealers, drug traffickers, and people smugglers. The relationship between organised crime and terrorism can be very usefully understood.

India will undoubtedly become the most competitive nation in the area of strategic education thanks to the National Education Policy vision, which is sure to find many supporters. All the aspiring academicians and students who will soon step out into the world of competition much beyond a regulated framework would be fascinated by the new security and defense facilities, which would also offer a new perspective to the new generation. Creativity and the constant potential for innovation are essential components of National Education Policy that aid in the generation of new ideas. It aids in harnessing the power of innovative expression and inventive approaches to problem-solving.
