The District Election Officer of East Khasi Hills has informed that the draft photo electoral rolls for Pynthorumkhrah, Mawlai, East Shillong, North Shillong, West Shillong, South Shillong, Mylliem, Nongthymmai, Nongkrem, Sohiong, Mawsynram, Pynursla and Mawkynrew Assembly constituencies have been prepared with reference to January 1, 2022 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules 1960.
A copy of the draft electoral rolls is available for inspection at the office of the Deputy Commissioner in Shillong and at the offices of Block Development Officers during office hours and at the concerned polling stations from November 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021.
If there be any claim for the inclusion of a name in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of name or any objection to particulars in any entry, it should be lodged on or before the November 30, 2021 in Form 6, 7, 8, or 8A as may be appropriate at the DC’s office or at the offices of Block Development Officers during office hours and at the concerned polling stations with the concerned Booth Level Officers.
