NEHU Students’ Union (NEHUSU) has got its new body with the election of new office bearers for the academic year 2024-25.
The NEHU Election Commission today officially announced the names of the elected candidates for various positions.
Sandy Sohtun, a fourth semester student from the Adult and Continuing Education Department, has been elected as the president of the NEHUSU.
The post of vice president went to Riki Deiburom Rabon, a second semester student from the Environmental Science Department.
Toniho S. Kharsati from the Law Department was elected as general secretary while Eva Kordor Kharshandi from the English Department was elected as assistant general secretary. Ymphaidien Sutong from the Information Technology Department was elected as finance secretary.
Bashankur Buhroy, an eight semester student from the Information Technology Department, has been elected as the Editor.
The newly elected body also includes representatives for Games and Sports, Academic Affairs, Social and Cultural Activities, and Public Relations.
The official handover ceremony for the new body will be held tomorrow at 2:30pm at the NEHUSU office on the NEHU campus here.
