Shillong, Dec 29: Dr Ananya Das from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at NEIGRIHMS received the prestigious Dr Jagadishwari Mishra Oration award for Surgery and Medicine for her outstanding contribution as an obstetrician and gynaecologist, during the 100th All India Medical Conference IMA NATCON 2025 in Ahmedabad from December 27 to 28.
Dr Das delivered the oration entitled ‘The Problem Statement and the need to Preserve Uterus’, which was highly appreciated and widely received, a NEIGRIHMS press release informed.
NEIGRHMS Director Nalin Mehta congratulated Dr Das for her achievements and also applauded her efforts in receiving much recognition in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
