National Lok Adalat was today held across the State in which 235 cases were settled for an amount of Rs 84, 47,480 was settled.
The number of cases taken up at the Lok Adalat was 1287, out of which, 837 are Pre-Litigation cases and 450 pending cases.
The National Lok Adalat was organised by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
