The National Lok Adalat will be held on March 9, the Secretaries of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in both Ri-Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills informed today.
For Ri-Bhoi, the Lok Adalat will be held in the office of the District and Sessions Court in Nongpoh from 10am onwards for all types of cases.
In WJH, the Lok Adalat will be held at the District and Sessions Court in Kliehtyrshi from 10am onwards. Subjects to be taken up include pre-litigation matters such as bank and telephone matters and pending Bakijai cases, bank robbery cases, criminal compoundable cases, MACT (motor accident claims tribunal) cases, etc.
All parties concerned are requested to participate in the upcoming Adalat, either physically or virtually.
