Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today visited NEIGRIHMS to check on the health of two persons injured in the Mukroh firing last week.
The chief minister also provided financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Special Grant and from his personal expenses. The government had informed earlier that all the bills of the two patients – Elias Samayang (28) and Sheini Nartiang (48) will be borne by the government.
The two injured villagers suffered bullet injury on their faces.
NEIGRIHMS director Nalin Mehta informed that the condition of the patients is stable and they will be discharged soon.
