A letter on behalf of teachers who have passed the Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test (MTET) has been sent to the Deputy Commissioner of South Garo Hills expressing concern by delays in the recruitment process.
The lower primary and upper primary teachers, under the All Garo Hills MTET Passed Association, are worried that the delay in the recruitment process could leave them ineligible for jobs once they pass the age limit despite possessing the necessary qualifications and experience.
