Editor,
There have been numerous complaints by common citizens of the State over the misuse and blatant abuse of power by a number of so-called high level people who claim to be remotely or nearly connected to political parties or politicians.
The Supreme Court of India had clearly off and on instructed and passed rulings over the misuse and abuse of siren with flashing lights by former politicians. This has taken a new high with even businessmen and few political leaders using this as a sort of power projection, which is unlawful and uncivilised especially when we are living in the 21st century. The danger could be unknown miscreants and even militants who would sneak into the State in the garb of “government officials” and create havoc.
Perhaps the honourable High Court could take cognisance of such behaviour which displays a typical colonial mindset by such nincompoops.
