A 17-year old student who went missing from St. Margaret School in Laitumkhrah was found in West Bengal.
Prachi Ghosh a resident of Upper Mawprem locality had gone missing since June 2, 2023.
Police said continuous efforts were made to trace Prachi and a team from East Khasi Hills District led by Sub-Inspector Md. Kayum “recovered” here on June 12 from Malda Town in West Bengal.
Investigation is on even as it is not linked to any trafficking or kidnapping case, police said.
