Bisharlang Pyngrope from Mawlyngad village, East Khasi Hills, a former Principal of TMT Higher Secondary School in Nagaland, who is presently working at St Michael’s Higher Secondary School, Umsning, has been inducted as the Meghalaya Convenor of the All India Education Forum (AIEF) by the National Executive Council on November 22.
The AIEF is an association of educationists across the country with Dr Zavise Rume, Professor, SCERT, Nagaland as its Chairman. The AIEF was formed with the objective to provide a common platform for the educationists, to promote healthy interaction on education, to improve the quality in education, to extend consultancy service in policy decision making on education, to network with education-related organisations and to safeguard the interest of educationists in the country.
