East Jaiñtia Hills police arrested a man and seized 369 counterfeit currency notes all of Rs 500 denomination.
The arrested accused has been identified as Anthony Dkhar, a resident of Ladrymbai B.
Police said based on the information from the Village Defence Party (VDP) of Ladrymbai Dongwah that the man was arrested last night.
A case against the accused has been registered and investigation is on.
