A man riding a two-wheeler was electrocuted to death after he accidentally stepped on a fallen live wire along a road between Umden-Umshaken in Ri Bhoi district today.
According to sources, the live wire was dangling from an electric pole adjacent to the road.
The deceased, identified as Nevershon Nongkseh. The tragic incident happened at 2 pm during heavy rains.
His body was taken to Nongpoh Civil Hospital and was exempted from post mortem request placed by the family of the deceased.
