Shillong, Jul 7: Kitkupar Nongsiej, the winner of Ka Sur Kynud Season 3, will leave for the USA on July 10 to represent Meghalaya and India at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2026 in Las Vegas.
Ka Sur Kynud is the flagship singing competition organised by Don Bosco Media Network (DBMN). Part of its commitment to discovering, nurturing and promoting the talent of young people from the North East, DBMN has taken the initiative to sponsor and support its winners in participating in prestigious international competitions.
This commitment has already borne fruit. Chevinia Lyngdoh Mawnai, the winner of Ka Sur Kynud Season 1, represented India at the UK Vocal Star Competition in the United Kingdom, where she emerged as the champion. Continuing this vision of empowering young talent, Kitkupar will now participate in the WCOPA 2026, one of the world’s most renowned performing arts competitions.
