Veteran politician and former chief minister DD Lapang has resigned from his post as adviser to the State government.
In a letter to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today, 90-year-old Lapang thanked the chief minister for giving him an opportunity to serve the State.
It may be mentioned that Lapang was appointed as adviser to the State Planning Department in February this year with a category of A Plus.
Earlier, from October 2018 to 2023, he held the post as chief adviser to the State government.
