Players of Shillong Lajong are currently undergoing training in Srinagar where they will play Real Kashmir away from home on December 16 at 2 pm in the TRC Turf Ground, Srinagar.
This will be just the third away match for Lajong this season after Mohammedan SC and Rajasthan United where both the matches ended in a 1-1 result. They are currently placed fifth on the points table with 16 points from nine matches.
Real Kashmir are placed third on the points table with 17 points from nine matches with just one point ahead of Lajong.
Lajong this time they will be playing against Real Kashmir with the absence of a few names in the squad who are currently nursing some injuries.
Phrangki Buam, Damaitphang Lyngdoh, Kenstar Kharshong, Everbrightson Sana Mylliempdah and Sangti Janai Shianglong will not be available for this match, and if they will remain fit for the next match at home against Namdhari FC on December 23, it is still a doubt.
But nonetheless, Lajong still has a competitive squad at their disposal and with the return of their Brazilian midfielder Renan Paulino De Souza back into the team after serving a four yellow card suspension in the last match they will be looking for a positive result against Real Kashmir on December 16.
