Expressing concern of the abrupt discontinuation of medical services by the North East Institute of Ayurveda & Homeopathy (NEIAH) at Mawdiangdiang due to Covid-19, the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) on Friday today sought for its reopening.
In a letter to the Director of NEIAH, KSU Mawkasiang unit said that the institute should reopen for the benefit of those patients who rely on Ayurveda and Homeopathic medication.
KSU unit president June Jimmy Nongdhar said the union has received numerous grievances from the general public on the issue and urged the Director to facilitate resumption of medical services at the institute for both indoor and outdoor patients.
