Khar-Doloi Law College, Jowai has emerged winner of a quiz competition on the new criminal laws organised by the Department of Law at the North-Eastern Hill University here today.
Altogether nine teams participated in the competition.
The Department of Law, NEHU, and USTM, Khanapara, took the second and third places, respectively.
The event was convened by Prof. (Dr.) Chintamani Rout. Prof. (Dr.) JJ Mozika attended the inauguration as the chief guest, and the prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Prof. Debarma, Dean of Social Sciences, NEHU.
