The Jaiñtia National Council (JNC) Khliehriat Circle made a complaint to a Deputy Commissioner of East Jaiñtia Hills Shivansh Awasthi with regard to the issue faced by the public within the headquarters of the district with regard to the worst condition of the NH-6 and prayer to make arrangements with regard to the dust particle.

The circle general secretary of the JNC stated that NH-6 is in a shambles, making it difficult for workers and students to commute. With the monsoon abating, the weather is drying out and dust kicked up by vehicles is a major problem along this route.
