Pynthorumkhrah MLA and BJP leader, Alexander Laloo Hek has refused to make further comments on the decision of his nephew to contest from his constituency in the 2023 elections stating, “It will be sorted out by the family.”
“This is a family matter I don’t want to say anything. I am told by our family and our clan not to speak anything outside,” he told reporters today.
Rocky Hek, his nephew, who was also the BJP general secretary of Shillong city, tendered his resignation stating he was not recognised for putting efforts in working for the party.
Rocky who had unsuccessfully contested the 2019 MDC elections from North Shillong, plans to contest his uncle’s seat on NPP ticket.
