Nongpoh, Nov 17: The 9th Inter-Collegiate Youth Festival-cum-Games and Sports Meet 2025 of the Central Agricultural University (CAU) of Imphal concluded today at the College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences (CPGS-AS), Umiam.
The event witnessed active participation, spirited competitions and vibrant cultural expression of 420 students from all 13 constituent colleges of CAU to celebrate youth talent, creativity, sportsmanship and academic excellence.
Students participated with great zeal in athletics, indoor and outdoor sports, fine arts, literary events, cultural competitions and performing arts. The festival also featured motivational sessions, a business meet, Thinkathon, happiness fair and expert talks on mental well-being and integration of AI and LLMs in education and research, offering a holistic platform for student development.
The highlight of the valedictory function was the prize distribution ceremony, where winners of various sports, literary, arts and cultural events were felicitated. Trophies, medals and certificates were awarded to the best-performing colleges and individual achievers, acknowledging their hard work and excellence.
