Both are labourers working in limestone quarries. Their bodies were found at Ichamati and Dalda respectively.
The police so far have arrested five KSU members for their alleged involvement in the killing of three persons in Ichamati and Mawlai Mawroh.
Four of the KSU activists were arrested for the killings in Ichamati. Gary Rinaldy Mawlieh (25) of Mawlai Mawroh Kseh was arrested in connection with the killing of a daily wage labourer Arjun Ray in Mawroh on April 10.
Meanwhile following the arrest of Marbaniang, members of the KSU gathered outside the Sadar police station and the court premises shouting slogans against the arrest.
It may be noted that the KSU had reacted with fury to the arrests and issued a subtle threat that further arrests of its members would lead to law and order trouble.
