The Hynñiewtrep Youths Council (HYC) has continued to raise matters relating to employment in NEIGRIHMS, today demanding an explanation from the central health institute as to why vacancies for the post of Diet Clerk had not been filled despite even after tests had been held for the role.
In a letter to the Director of NEIGRIHMS, the pressure group said that results for the written test exam were declared on November 4, 2022 and those for the typing speed test were released on January 3, 2023.
Four indigenous tribals had cleared the two tests but the delay in filling the vacancies “raises serious doubts about the transparency in the whole process of recruitment”.
The HYC has had NEIGRIHMS in its sights of late, criticising the employment policies and demanding reservation of jobs for local tribals.
