The Meghalaya unit of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan in collaboration with Metallica-Sargam Sports and Cultural Club conducted a workshop on Hindi’s influence in the North East.
The two-day workshop was held on September 26 and 27 at the Gandhi Buniyadi Hindi Secondary School.
Other activities undertaken included Hindi poem recitation, Hindi patriotic song competition, Hindi writing competition, slogan writings and foot march.
Donovan Rapsang, deputy director of NYKS Meghalaya and Pravin Kumar Singh, Hindi scholar, were among the dignitaries present.
