Speaking to media persons here today, State BJP president Rikman G. Momin said that Hek is among the five ticket aspirants for Shillong and that there are six aspirants for party ticket for the Tura seat.
“We have already sent the names of these candidates to the central leadership of the party,” Momin said, adding that the names of candidates for the two seats from Meghalaya are likely to be announced in the third list to be released soon by the party’s central leadership.
Besides Hek, the other BJP ticket aspirants for Shillong seat include former State party president Ernest Mawrie, Fenela Lyngdoh Nonglait, State BJYM president Mewaker Lyngdoh and BJP National Executive member Sumitra Laloo.
